i just deleted all my bookmarks

i had like 500 or something, probably
looking through them i just thought "i hope i dont forget about 'sale of ice cream in cold areas'"

yeah thats what was happening to me, it would be 10-15 threads every time, mostly ones i dont even enjoy reading

do you have any virtuous bookmarks - like, threads that you bookmarked because you "should" read them, but you don't because they require a considerable amount of intellectual effort, in excess of that you want to devote to ilx?

a lot of mine are deleted or deindexed threads

I was away for a month and had too many updates, so I deleted all mine too. :|

haha so true, i cannot deal with bookmarks, all are accidental and caused by clumsy iphoneing
somehow i bookmarked the academy awards thread on ile tonight and i was only on it for like not even 10 minutes!

I can't grasp the concept of bookmarking threads w/ my ilx account, so I bookmark ilx threads the usual way, via Firefox. granted, they are but a drop in the sea of ≈5,000 unsorted wtfmarks I've amassed as a way of dealing (badly) with information overload.

I easily have 50 unread bookmarks sitting atop SNA now. I may have to delete again. I think I'm too quick to bookmark threads I don't actually care about.

there should really be a lill js link to unbookmark threads next to the bookmark just like there is at the bottom of threads, should only take 5 mins

I do this about once every month or two now. You tend to get the important ones back pretty quickly. I currently have 272 threads bookmarked.
