ah yes, thats it, it was bugging me so bad

i never listen to that album anymore. it nearly made me do a tear when i heard it the first time. just not up to that standard of the 1st three albums.

it has about two or three good songs ("woman's realm" and more importantly "there's too much love" which is one of their best songs). the problem with it is there just isn't enough stuart murdoch on it and the other gumbies wrote all these ridiculous songs like "family tree" and "beyond the sunrise" (make me squirm just thinking about them).

The good news is Dear Catastrophe Waitress and The Life Pursuit are both really fucking excellent.

yeah man, they're good albums, inparticular the new one. i still much prefer the first three though. for me they are as close to perfection as it gets. each album has a little place in my heart and they're all so good that i don't reckon i could pick one out as the best.
