god plays the classic matchmaker role:

I asked the Lord for someone,
and I always knew that in God's time and in God's way
it would be someone like you.
All my hopes and all my dreams
were suddenly fulfilled
It's almost unbelievable
our love is in his will.

Only God could love you more,
for he gave me this love I have for you.
What a blessing to know He's your Lord,
For only God could love you more, than I do.

I'm tempted to be saying ,
that we met by chance
But God was there at every turn,
In every circumstance
To share this life God gave me
seems such a fearful task,
But every moment we have shared
is more than I could ask

What about;

Give me love in The Hart,
Keep it burning, burning, burning.....

That's a good one.

Do you remember when the Hart went on fire?

All people that on earth do dwell,
Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice.
Him serve with fear, His praise forth tell;
Come ye before Him and rejoice.

The Lord, ye know, is God indeed;
Without our aid He did us make;
We are His folk, He doth us feed,
And for His sheep He doth us take.

O enter then His gates with praise;
Approach with joy His courts unto;
Praise, laud, and bless His Name always,
For it is seemly so to do.

For why? the Lord our God is good;
His mercy is for ever sure;
His truth at all times firmly stood,
And shall from age to age endure.

To Father, Son and Holy Ghost,
The God Whom Heaven and earth adore,
From men and from the angel host
Be praise and glory evermore.

Big up the Lord and get down with the Kidz.
Literally. Down on the floor, writhing, speaking in tongues.

Artist: Delirious
Song: I'M Not Ashamed
Album: Live & In The Can
[" Live & In The Can " CD]

There was a time as a little boy
When I said I'd follow you
But the years have caused the flame
To burn much stronger now
And I'm not burning down any of my bridges
But I'm burning up inside
To flee from my religion and love my neighbour more.

I'm not ashamed of the gospel.
I'm not ashamed of the one I love.
I'm not ashamed of the gospel.
I'm not ashamed of the one I love.

There were times in my barrenness
When I felt your pure affection
And you heard my frail petitions
To serve you endlessly
But have I loved the tree that they put you on?
Or my friend who met me at the cross?
Oh I want to sing again for my brother
And find my way down this mountain

I'm not ashamed any more
'Cos I've felt the oil pour down over me
And there's a fire that's burning stronger now
It's burning stronger much stronger
For you only you

I pity the fool who doesn't love jesus.

One i sang in Primary school...

"Praise him, Praise him
Praise him in the morning, praise him in the noontime
Praise him, Praise him
Praise him 'til the sun goes down."

That's a lot of praising.

Here's a nice one we used to sing at my old primary scool;

I stand on the shadow of demoralizing cross,
divergent is my path to cryptic beyond dimensions.
My soul was created to deeper values...not to bounding extolled.
I wade in stranger waters, guided with moonlight...stars as my crown.
I seek nocturnal elements to nourish my satanic desires.
I'm aspirant to unholy extremities,
which light won't bring for my kind and god blindly avoid.
I have given my spirit to dark...
to the realm of the shadows and jetblack infinities.
Where the purest silence feed the devil in me.
And the fires of my destiny burn kingly higher.
God that thee fear and the heavenly kingdom surrounding him.
Is for me a grotesque ruin...a mendacious tale.
Throne, crown...sword as symbol,
darkness, light, Satan and god.
From that i find my life and death.
In truth i am and i will be fucking.
Eternally...infernally.
I am something that something possess,
and the one who seek the angels and the beasts.
Eternally...infernally.

nice lyric tev, a little bit wayward from the christian theme though. might get some tev'angelists a bit worked up and foaming at the mouth!

wish i'd gone to your school. my choir was rough man. had this teacher that would reward excellent singing by allowing us to sit on his knee. seemed ok at the time.
