How many roads must a man walk down, before you can call him a man?

A question deserving of some thought. I asked my mate Bob and he gave an answer that I feel is somewhat of a cop-out that "the answer is blowing in the wind". He should have just admitted that he didn't know.

Its 17.

i was going to post the very same question yesterday which is a little strange! (but then found out the answer in my encyclopaedophile brittanica, definitely 17)

Spooky...! Surely it depends on the length and severity of the road, ie, veterans of 'Shock and Awe' might argue that if it's "The road to Baghdad" then just the one would suffice. 17 though eh, you might have something there...

Twisted Thinka, Thursday, 6 April 2006 11:19 (nineteen years ago)

You naturally might think the style of road is important however, curiously, it isn't. If a man walks down a different number of roads, he might be called anything by the end of it e.g. 7 roads and you'd call him a woman, 23 roads and he'd be called a bear.

How many roads til you can call the subject a gerbil?
I would look it up myself, but sadly have neither encyclopaedo nor paedy larousse.

ginweasel, Thursday, 6 April 2006 11:40 (nineteen years ago)

Interesting... 3 for a pet gerbil but 67 for a wild gerbil

lizraeli, Thursday, 6 April 2006 11:46 (nineteen years ago)

Many thanks- sorry
Can you unwalk roads?
I am hoping to convert one of my friends into a gerbil as there is a cage lying empty at my flat, but fear they may all have walked down too many roads already, even the stoners, and it would be a shame to cage a wild gebril.

Many thanks- sorry to be a pest, but can you unwalk roads?

How many roads must a man roll down in a wheelchair before you can call him a man (albeit a man without any legs)??

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 6 April 2006 11:54 (nineteen years ago)

You can unwalk a road by cycling backwards along it, tricky but achievable with a little discipline.

latin - do you mean like a rolling stone?

lizraeli, Thursday, 6 April 2006 12:08 (nineteen years ago)

What happens if it snows and you have to trudge/sledge/ski down a road? Also, if there is a flood and you sail down a road, what happens then? To further complicate matters, it may be difficult to identify the edge of a road during a flood so you may find yourself crossing roads and even 'off-roading'?!!!

I've done some research and one must walk exactly 62 roads of moderate length (without too many potholes) to become an albatros. It's been rumoured that a goose is possible with around 29, although that is currently unconfirmed.

how many roads to become a paedo dog?

satan, Thursday, 6 April 2006 12:26 (nineteen years ago)

i am fucking confused by this thread.

i reckon anyone in a wheelchair is already a man by default. its a big enough experience on its own, no road walking necessary.

for a non-wheelchair human, i reckon it takes at least a thousand roads, of all sorts of lengths, difficulties and conditions.

and tev, all your points are valid. i reckon if the road is blocked at all, by any form of weather or obstruction, and you make it through, then you must be a man.

Do you get extra points for motorways, autobahns etc...?

tEV, Thursday, 6 April 2006 12:31 (nineteen years ago)

Does the number of roads vary for Indian and African elephants, or would it be the same?

Twisted Thinka, Thursday, 6 April 2006 12:32 (nineteen years ago)

My aunt has used a treadmill for 30 minutes everyday for the last ten years - does that make her a man, and if so, should I tell my uncle?

Twisted Thinka, Thursday, 6 April 2006 12:33 (nineteen years ago)

What was the answer to the number of roads required to become a peado-dog? I heard Latin was a peado-dog, is that true?

How many skirts must a man walk in, before he's considered a tran'?

Twisted Thinka, Thursday, 6 April 2006 14:03 (nineteen years ago)

well i've done it once. so i'm gonna say 5 times. which gives me a little room to do it again without becomming a tranny!

clocko diko (honesttoafault), Thursday, 6 April 2006 14:12 (nineteen years ago)

I walked down my road to the station every day for a year while I lived in Meadowbank, but I actually walk up the street now that I live in Bancroft. When I lived in Blackmore I walked through a cul-de-sac, past a bush, along a path past a field and through another field.

Therefore I pwn u all!!!
