And why?

Tev the veggie, Thursday, 27 April 2006 08:18 (nineteen years ago)

That all depends on the vegetarian/ omnivore in q innit.
I for example am an amazing example of enlightened vegetarianism and have been since the age of 8. Others are not so lucky.

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 08:29 (nineteen years ago)

its only twatish when they get all militant about and go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about it. just eat some meat and be quiet.

Please elaborate Ginweasel...

Hello Clocko.

It's a nice cheery animation about factory farming and speaks for itself. so ya. you do need sound rilly.
Morning alll

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 08:53 (nineteen years ago)

hello everyone!

i agree with clocko. i'd rather eat with a veggie who didn't mind me eating meat than someone who takes all the lettuce and tomatoes out their sandwiches on the grounds that it's "rabbit food". those people annoy the heck out of me. get one tastebud, innit?

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 27 April 2006 08:57 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah that's whack, that's probab;y more annoying than veggies harping on about being veggies.

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 09:00 (nineteen years ago)

also - people who not only take the gherkin out of their ronburger but also scrape off all the onions and ketchup too. May as well go have a ham sandwich.
Or people who pick food apart and eat each bit seperately. Longman did that the other day with a cake I think. what the plot is up with that? Amirite?

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 27 April 2006 09:26 (nineteen years ago)

I like eating all the chocolate off kit kats. But have got over disecting bounties in my old age.

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 09:34 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah! "Eat properly." Jesus said that, I read it in the koran. So fucking doit you upper middle-class gypos!!!

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 09:38 (nineteen years ago)

What about those ninconpoops who say they're vegetable-crunchers but then chomp on flyers/swimmers?! What's that about?

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 09:50 (nineteen years ago)

yeh man.

my favourite was a friend of mine told me about a girl he met at a dinner party who claimed she was ovo-lacto vegetarian, which "means I can eat milk and eggs and anything that makes milk or eggs". What the plot!?

My very favourite are people who are vegetarian but never eat vegetables - pass the cheese sandwiches.

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 27 April 2006 09:54 (nineteen years ago)

What the plot?! She sounds like a right numpty, you can't go around saying that sort of thing! Your quite likely to get stabbed if you do. (I would have thought)

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 09:57 (nineteen years ago)

She sounds a bit retarded. All birdies fishes and mammals make eggs and most mammals make milk. bless her eyes.
unless your mate was wilfully misunderstanding her, i'm ovo/lacto, but free range non metal nipple clamp sourced ovos and lactos only in my house. and no ded thing on my plate ever.
vegetables are great and cheaps cheaps.

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 10:34 (nineteen years ago)

Have you ever met Salad-Man?

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 10:40 (nineteen years ago)

No
is he like the marshmallow man except salad?

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 10:42 (nineteen years ago)

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 10:51 (nineteen years ago)

vegetables are... cheaps cheaps.

not from sainsbury's they aren't. or any supermarket for that matter. I wish I had time to go to Hitchin market. I might go this weekend.

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 27 April 2006 10:57 (nineteen years ago)

Or Fresh & fucking Wild, rince-out!!!

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 10:59 (nineteen years ago)

Fresh and rip off is totally unbelievable. Market is the way you knows it. and it's still cheaper than dirty meats innit.

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 12:32 (nineteen years ago)

okay, what are you two on about?

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 27 April 2006 12:38 (nineteen years ago)

Fresh & FUCK OFFS.

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 12:39 (nineteen years ago)

fresh and wild is an unvelievably expensive and poncey chain that sells organic ethical food made of diamonds (well it should be) at astronomical prices. It has branches in notting hill, primrose hill, brighton north lanes, soho and oop regent park end of parkway, and anywhere else there might conceivably be people with more money than sense.

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 12:54 (nineteen years ago)

that is wack.

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 27 April 2006 12:55 (nineteen years ago)

Shut-up man, Where do you think Tev gets the ingredients for his cabbage and mushroom sarnies from!!!

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 13:06 (nineteen years ago)

I LOVE ALL FOOD IT IS GREAT AND BETTER THAN DRUGZ FOR ME!

Captain Smash (Captain Smash), Friday, 28 April 2006 09:30 (nineteen years ago)

There is a fresh and wild in bristol. I once spent a hundred pounds on my weekly shop there. That was when I had more credit cards than sense. Delicious though!

blizzard, Friday, 28 April 2006 09:57 (nineteen years ago)

Not delicious, same shit at double the price. (Hello Liz)

Tev, Friday, 28 April 2006 10:03 (nineteen years ago)

More vegetarians means more meat for the rest of us! However, the fact that they most likely refuse to worship at the altar of St. Ron's still means they're gonna be first against the wall when the revolution comes.

ALLAH FROG (Mingus Dew), Friday, 28 April 2006 19:10 (nineteen years ago)

buggerking's veggie burger is 20themen of ron's poor dedoil fried thing.
But then, ron, wrong. it's all in the name.
a ron of any other name etc.
