we have a bank holiday coming up... we should do something cool teadrinkers!

It also happens to be pay day (pédé) on Friday so we have no excuses for lame-arsed Red Hart apathy.

I'm thinking it would be cool to go out to a club or a gig in London or something. I'm even considering Brighton but it might be too late notice for residents to expect a gang of Hitchiners down. If we do go to London maybe even Ginners could show her face?

Also - we are planning on reclaiming the Phoenix as a pub of choice in Hitchin. It's not a bad place but their clientele is rub. If we get as many Teadrinkers and like-minded folk to invade it we could make it into quite a cool place. Hopefully it'll gain a good reputation and the emos and chavs will leave. We could even start working on this tonight!!

Is my birthday precious on saturday, going for 2 for a £5 cocktails on Greek street 5-7 pm then undecided possibly to duckies at vauxhall for some gay cabaret. possibly to KoKos for guilty pleasures (a rip off at £15 in my opinion, however apparently very good). All are welcome to join.

woah my mate just sent me this via email. what a geez:

Charlie, you want info on parties , you've come to the right man.

In my opinion, on Sat, best nights are at Turnmills & Fabric.

On Sun, Best night is definitley down at The End. If you go to The End, make sure you go early, the last time Circo Loco did a bank holiday party the queue was right around the block by 11.30pm! As long as Nottingham doesn't kill me physically or financially, will probably be in attendance at this one on Sun.

Nah, I'm gonna buy a spade and start digging a hol as soon as i FINISH WORK TOMMORROW and see how big I can dig that fucker by Monday night.

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 12:52 (nineteen years ago)

haha. do you have any plans for teh weekend tev? my mate is thinking of going to this circo loco thing on sunday but also it's righteous ones of the rockets at c85 that evening. that said, although it's not necessarily my cup of char, i haven't hardly ever been clubbing in london (at least not recently) and it would be good to broaden some horizons. would anyone else be interested? if not we could always do something else.

it's that or stay in hitchin. crump's buying an eighth of c0ke so it's gonna be fun and frolics in my house (not).

I'm up for a Hit-chin-hurts one tommorrow night but I reckon I'm gonna got to Big-Bang on Sat and camp over till Sun, then probably be up for another Hitchin piss-up on Sun as we've no toil on Monday.

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 13:04 (nineteen years ago)

Well let me know if you do end up going to the End, I know some people who are already going so if you turned out to be offensively odd i could hide behind them.

Is Salad Man allowed to come?

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 13:19 (nineteen years ago)

What kind of party would it be without him?

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 13:23 (nineteen years ago)

Excellent, he'll be so pleased! Do you think he'll be allowed to bring his salsd cart in or would that have to be tethered outside?

Tev, Thursday, 27 April 2006 13:27 (nineteen years ago)

cool, i may well go in that case. gin, can you email me yr number and i'll let you know.

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 27 April 2006 13:28 (nineteen years ago)

I'm still not sure what the plan is tonight so I may as well make one up now.

We have a plan to reclaim the Phoenix pub away from those pesky emo kids and dodgy chavvos so what I may suggest is that everyone meets at ours for about 8ish and then we go there. I'm gonna try and get a real gang together (it's more of a statement that way) so let everyone know and try to get them to come too! If we're unable to stand it or if the lure of the Hart gets too much then we'll go there. And then after that it is all back to ours a select group of decent people (present company included) back to ours for a loud coked up mayhem quiet drink and a laugh. Sound good to you?

dog latin (dog latin), Thursday, 27 April 2006 13:51 (nineteen years ago)

re the salad man,
i think he'd have to leave his cart outside, in case he left it unattended and it had to be containedly exploded.

ginweasel, Thursday, 27 April 2006 13:55 (nineteen years ago)

Ok, that makes sense. I'll tell him to bring a D-lock.
