Having woken up at quarter to ten and steaming in without so much as a glance at the soap, I have sat at my desk pissed for the last 3 and a half hours. I had a cursory wash in the disabled toilets followed by a rest. I had a meeting with my manager and smelled of liquor. I hope it wasn't completely overpowering. Fortunately I had remembered my can of mace which I having been using (sparingly) as a pick me up.

have now sobered up of sorts but have had various comments about the glazed quality of my human spectacles. have a headache that feels like i have been placed in an airless cement mixer with pins in my eyes and shaken vigorously. aim to do no work. so far have been successful.

I was at the phoenix last night. by a whisker it may qualify as the worst pub in hitchin. i hold it entirely responsible for my state today. I don't think techno will make me like it any better.

I have sent the sun away because I am not allowed to drink for 10 days while on anti-biotics so I have no way to enjoy myself.

And to cheer me up even more the concoction of biscuit sized pills I have to swallow put me in a really fucking bad mood.

i beg to differ mate. my point is that techno is not the type of thing you need at half 8 on a friday night in a rubbish pub. its a dish best served in the early hours of the morning in a field. plus, at the moment i wouldn't really appreciate a techno night, given my migraine problem!

but yeah, aside from that comment, i guess i am a bit rockist sometimes. i can't help it if its better!
