Chocolate weasel- I'm sure they're local to somewhere and it's a great name.
Reindeer of doom is pretty inspired, what became of them?

they became Autofire

Sorry i know im 'breaking the rules' by not mentioning an animal, but the most ridiculous band name i've ever heard is Bordeaux - hurridly made up by a fellow team member, Pinnochio, when asked on the spot what the name of his triple-award winning band was called.

How about The Otters? I was once in a band called Ugli Tangelo - it's not a ridiculous animal, but it is a delicious hybrid of a tangerine and a grapefruit.

Hi Hazel!

The Otters are good and also a type of animal but I don't know whether they are a particularly ridiculous animal - maybe!

Sab - he was worried about being called Bordeaux when the singer's name is Pinnochio? Sheesh!

i know!! he's also commonly known as Party, Celebration and i think there was some toying with the name Festival. But 2 me he's always Pinnochio.

I was personally impressed by "40,000 flying pianos", the name of my Dad's band before they wised up and found a better one (circa 1970).
