Kids eh?

Teev, Monday, 22 May 2006 13:57 (nineteen years ago)

i liked it when i was a kid.

dog latin (dog latin), Monday, 22 May 2006 13:59 (nineteen years ago)

good will hunting. without a shadow of a doubt.

Hook has to be one of the most paedo films of all time.

popeye wasn't bad though. he was good. film was whack.

Good Morning Vietnam & Good Will Hunting.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Mrs Doubtfire. Not only was this cinematic marvel incredibly moving, it had paedo connotations AND was about a tranny. An oversight not to include it teadrinkers.

I'm sorry, but I can't agree that Good Will Hunting is a Robin Williams movie...it's a Damon and Affleck film...with Robin Williams in it...

That Carpe Diem film in the school was aight, Dead Poet's yeah...

But as for Good Willy Young, I ain't buying that flava...

Morning Gee & Wow!

Peepo!

Teev, Tuesday, 23 May 2006 07:24 (nineteen years ago)

yeah Dead Poets is a great film. totally forgot about that. there's a lot of similarity between that and Good Will Hunting that i never really thought about.

clocko diko (honesttoafault), Tuesday, 23 May 2006 08:11 (nineteen years ago)

I hates him in all things but i think i hates him most in Patch Adams as I was forced to watch it on a coach. Horrid object.
Mme Doubtfire the kiddies book is infinitely better than crappy american film, but yes at least a bit of paedo tranny action distracts from the general piss poor efforts of robin williams.

four years pass...

Somewhat reverent article in the Graun the other day all about RW. Although it seemed to say that World's Greatest Dad was about to come out. I'm sure I saw this film well over a year ago?

Me too. I didn't understand that bit of the article.

based robin williams film

two years pass...

Watched One Hour Photo for the first time since it came out. Not the greatest film of its kind, but I thought it was effectively creepy most of the way, and Williams was good. Two things made me laugh, though:

1) "I never knew you were so deep, Cy"--prompted by Williams' character's ability to read aloud from a Deepak Chopra book.

2) The way Cy's firing was handled, which basically amounted to "We know you're stealing, and we think you might be unbalanced, so as soon as you finish out the rest of this week, you're gone."
