One lady has won £10,000 from the council for slipping at the Welwyn Golf Course. She sued for lost pride and a sprain on her foot.

What would YOU sue for???

no wonder people dont like paying taxes, when it goes to bitches like that.

I would sue the night bus i fell over running for for excessive unneccessary velocity and failing to stop at the bus stop it was marked to stop at thence causing me to run after it and fall over, suffering pain, lost pride and ostracisement from fellow passengers on account of open gravel filled wounds on legs gushing blood.
Furthermore I would sue the many establishments that sold me alcohol for failing to recognise the likelyhood of the above happening when their beverages caused me to become intoxicated and the manufacturers of my shoes for failing to attach a health warning to the soles to the effect that the heel was higher than ground level and therefore may contribute to loss of balance.
Sadly I didn't get any pictures of any of this at the time. Maybe it is time i went out and got a picture taking mobile for occasions such as these.

suing for lost pride?? so can i sue the greasy kebab shop worker for making smarmy comments whilst mentally undressing every female that walks past? this makes me feel like i have lost the will to live because i can't even walk out of the place as i desperatly want the kebab!!!! the shame!

sab, Tuesday, 30 May 2006 10:27 (nineteen years ago)

if you have a camera phone the world is your litigation playground...
get a dictaphone too and prove there is msg in the kebab for a finale.

ginweasel, Tuesday, 30 May 2006 10:32 (nineteen years ago)

i'm sure there is msg in your average kebab, and i don't think anyone eve3r said there wasn't. msg doesn;t sound like that big a deal to me, soi long as you don't eat at Amore more than 3 times a week most people should be okay.

dog latin (dog latin), Tuesday, 30 May 2006 11:23 (nineteen years ago)

Captain Smash (Captain Smash), Tuesday, 30 May 2006 11:49 (nineteen years ago)

No the msg is for the addictive part of her claim, in case the defence tried to counter with her not having to be in the shop in the 1st place. Actually yes m'lud, for the claimant is in the thralls of a chronic msg addiction, inflicted by said msg laden kebabs, meaning she must take the vominducing entendre thrown out by the staff in order to get her fix.
ahhh

/I have just eaten MSG in the form of some Walker's Sensations Slow Roasted Lamb and Moroccan Spices crisps. I shall note the effects they have on me this afternoon and report back, if still functional.

dog latin (dog latin), Wednesday, 31 May 2006 11:47 (nineteen years ago)

they will probably result in some more msg pie.
watch out for fekdonalds cravings.

ginweasel, Wednesday, 31 May 2006 11:57 (nineteen years ago)

dog latin (dog latin), Wednesday, 31 May 2006 12:05 (nineteen years ago)
