War of the Worlds: I may be in the minority on this but this movie SUCKED big time! I didn’t buy the concept at all, and it had the lamest finish, since David Arquette won the WCW World Title from his own partner in tag match by pinning someone else, and then celebrating that win with the guy who lost the title, who genuinely looked excited to have lost the World Title. I won’t go into more detail as I don’t want to ruin the movie before seeing it has a chance to on it’s own, but apart from special effects, this movie brings nothing to the table, in my opinion. I’d almost rather see Tom Cruise rant and rave about Scientology. Okay maybe the movie wasn’t that bad, but all in all I would have rather given my $10 to Brooke Shields, to buy anti depressants.

The Longest Yard: I saw this film in New York the day before ECW ONS, and laughed my ass of. This is a film I will likely buy on DVD and watch several times; it was that funny. Kevin Nash is fantastic, which is something I don’t say often (LOL).

Revenge of the Sith (Star Wars Episode 3): I wasn’t a big fan of episodes 1 and 2 but thought this one was extremely good. I think it is by far the best of the 3 new films. It didn’t have as many annoying little plot wholes as the previous 2 and did a fantastic job tying all of the lose ends together to lead us into the original Star Wars film. My only big criticism on the whole for the new trilogy was the complete waste of Darth Maul. Count Dooku was such a lame heel character yet received so much more screen time than Maul. Maul should have survived the first film and replaced the Dooku character, in the following 2 episodes.

Robots: This one has been out for a while, and you likely won’t be able to catch now until it comes out on DVD, but I strongly recommend it. I took my kids to see this one and they loved it, and I have to admit I did as well. This was a fun movie, and a great DVD if you have kids.
