Gonna go with an underrated choice here and say Jungle Boy. we've really gotten to see him develop more in the ring, and develop his chemistry with others. I think that he's starting to be on a trajectory where he will be defined by what he does in professional wrestling, and not by who he is related to (though he looks so much like his dad that it's hard to ignore). His teaming up with Christian has been some of my favorite in-ring work this year.

imo sammy's really reached a new level in his career this year too

I was tempted to put Sammy, but I feel like he didn't really jump much higher from last year to this year. He definitely has been solid this year, and I actually enjoy this babyface-ish run, but this year really sold me on Jungle Boy being the future.

all of sammy's title defense matches have felt like bangers on another level, idk, that tony nese one???
