jericho vs. hassan - classic!

dunno about the rest tho.

That was easily Hassan's best match since coming to the WWE. That's not a big surprise considering who he wrestled.

Orton-Xtian was a typical Orton match -- fast start, boring for 12-13 minutes, hot finish. Now what the fuck are they going to do with these guys now? I was hoping there'd be a real feud here.

I was cringing during the Orton-Stacy "let's go to dinner" segment.

On the whole, the show seemed flat to me. They spent two hours hyping the "when will JBL show up?" angle, and we've all watched enough wrestling to know that whatever happened wouldn't be worth the buildup -- particularly when they started hyping Batista's decision for NEXT WEEK'S SHOW. Also, the Edge-Batista match served absolutely no purpose.

hassan vs. jericho was not only a good match, but the mic work from both beforehand was hilarious (tho, yeah, kinda cringeworthy if i put my pc hat back on).

the jbl limo ending was bunk, even with the triple h saves batista plot twist. run somebody over already!

The Hassan-Jericho mic work was OK, but they're starting to stretch it a bit with Hassan. So now he's upset about the T&A in the WWE? What exactly does this have to do with the treatment of Arab-Americans? Right to Censor 2005? Stevie Richards has nothing better to do ...

(fuck, I shouldn't even joke about that. Vince has taken a few shots at the FCC lately, we could be one New York Post editorial away from a reformed RTC with Hassan, Daivari, Richards, Val, and the French-Arab sympathisers La Resistance)

they've sort of taken away the arab-american angle and have just gone with arab tho (more specifically fundamental islamic arab, since there are arab jews and xians and whatnot, duuh).

Haha, the average wrestling fan chants "USA!!!" at the guy -- they can't even wrap their heads the fact that he IS an American. So it goes without saying that the average fan automatically makes an "Arab = Islamic fundamentalist" association in their head.

the only thing good about this show was HHH's beard.

Dude, are you a 15 year old asian chick? (jingleberries), Tuesday, 15 February 2005 22:56 (twenty years ago)

I know! that's why it was great!
