Lance Storm with Dawn Marie vs Chris Jericho
Extreme luchador action:Rey Mysterio vs Psychosis
A three way dance:The insane luchador Super Crazy vs Tajiri with Sinister Minister vs Little Guido
Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit
Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman vs Bubba & D-Von Dudley
There'll probably be some matches added, maybe involving the SD and RAW types. So how does everyone think this is going to go off? Is it going to be Invasion part 2? Are they trying to get some more mileage rather than just for 'one night only'?

Those first four matches ought to pretty much piss on everything they've done recently anyway, regardless of how much they bleed.

Meltzer totally hit the nail on the head during his appearance on the LAW last week. If they promoted the PPV at a safe distance from WWE, let Heyman book the entire thing, get all the ECW alumni to work it, and refrain from booking WWE angles around it, then the PPV would probably do well just based on the ex-ECW fans. Not to mention the serious wrestling and WWE fans who would buy the show to see stuff like Benoit vs Guerrero no matter what type of show it was.
That show would probably outsell a lot of recent WWE PPV's, which would be unacceptable in the WORLD OF VINCE because it would mean that ECW was capable of creating stars and selling PPV's just as well as he could.
So, he gets a bunch of WWE talent like Edge, Bischoff, and Angle to show up, with heavy cross-promotion on RAW and 20-minute interview segments devoted to hyping the card. Now, if the buyrate is good, Vince can claim that it was largely due to WWE talent being there. And if the buyrate is bad, then he can blame it on the ECW brand name instead, and say that ECW wasn't a very big draw after all. Hence, Vince = Evil Genius.
But like you guys say, with the matches they have on tap, there's no way this show can suck.

Apparently Joey Styles will be doing commentary. All together on the count of three:
"OH
MY
GAHHHD!"

Here's 35 bucks for the ECW PPV. I trust I will be more entertained by this PPV than by flushing said $35 down a toilet.
Hopefull,Tom Sizemore

It seems as though the matches took a back seat to the angles but for a "one night only" event, with so many people to stuff onto the card, I guess that's to be expected. Also expect: follow-up cards?

Still, i called the Spike Dudley & lighter fluid bits, at least, and we all marked out for the bWo appearance.

Oh. My. Gawd.
The end was disappointing, I thought. Taz randomly interrupts, but then DOESN'T kick everybody's asses (just Kurt Angle's?)
Spike Dudley showed up and did... what, exactly?
It was great to see the Blue Meanie.
The Sandman is FAT!
Tanaka/Mike Awesome match was predictably spectacular.
Disappointed that no one pulled out the "tree of woe."
