Don't know how active this board is, but anyone have any ideas for a good brunch menu based on a theme, be it regional, ingredient based, whatever?

where are you? if not in a place where it would be commonplace (e.g. texas) than a mexican brunch is great. Migas, refried beans, tortillas, margaritas. . . yum.

That would be good, but this is going to be accross the street from a place that does mexican. Margaritas though...

Monochromatic meals are always fun.

Here's a description of a pork-themed brunch that sounds amazing: http://www.gumbopages.com/looka/archive/2005-04.html#6

I want to make those little bacon/gorgonzola cheesecakes.

Huh - I didn't realize the Stop button didn't bring things to a screeching halt. Anyway, I think a pork centered brunch would be divine.

If not Mexican, howsabout more classical Spanish? Chorizo scrambled eggs, tortilla española (mmm potatoes), fried morcilla (black pudding), churros and hot chocolate if you're not feeling meaty. Goes well with a nice Bloody Mary or indeed a jug of sangría.
