Can tortillas be frozen for later use?

Can fresh tortillas be frozen without something bad happening to the texture upon defrosting?

Google indicates that yes they can be frozen, just put some wax paper between each tortilla. I haven't tried this. Someone said they would be good for up to two months, but this may not be true either.

I've done this, I always ate them before there was any change in texture/flavor, but I want to say they kept for two or three months!

I didn't bother with the waxed paper either, just threw the bag in the freezer. Sometimes the tortillas would stick to each other if you didn't wait long enough for them to thaw, but it wasn't a huge problem.

Another trick from the wily wax paper industry to get us to use more of their product! Oh how I hate them.
