synthetic cream . where can i buy it...

hHELP.. I live in chorley lancashire ENGLAND.. Can anybody tell me where I can buy the sythetic cream, I used to get from my baker friend ten or so years ago.. It used to be packaged in plastic gallon containers .. which realy was to much for me but was realy delicious ... the same sythetic cream you used to get in large profiter rolls .. sponge cakes etc.. you used to pour some into a mixing bowl ,,and whisk it using an electric hamd mixer for quite a long time .. say ten minuets or more , befor it thickened correctey ..thanks in anticipation ..
