What is Dry Shortening?

What is "dry shortening" ? I am doing nutritional analysis for a company whose recipe includes this ingredient. I have checked the USDA Nutrient Database and it does not list this product.

Does anyone have any idea what dry shortening is and what is it composed of?? If so, please email me and I will be forever grateful!!!

Dry shortening is made by spray-drying an oil (like cottonseed oil) to force out any residual moisture and atomize the droplets, then coating the microscopic droplets in either flour (more common) or sugar.

Here's a description of the spray drying process - it's used for lots of things. Possibly too much information in that link.
