I have a 1950's gas Stove (Mettens Early Kooka 88) I need the cast iron hot plate/gridle either welded or replaced. Can anyone suggest someone that can help me?

If it's cast iron, it can't be welded unfortunately. I'd try contacting a commercial metal fabricator in your area - if they can't do a specialized casting for you, they might be able to point you to someone who can. If you were in the US, I'd suggest you contact Lodge Manufacturing directly, as they might know some job-shop casting facilities.
