Last night we made baked branzino with shallots, white wine and fresh herbs. The branzino, very fresh and more than enough for dinner for two, was less than $10 at Fairway, and it's way tastier (and more aesthetic) than fillet. Hooray!

Aw man, whole fish rules! I rarely make it, 'cause I always feel like it's a pain, but I should remind myself that it actually never is.

Yeah, I know! I think I have a weird, childhood-remembered fear of not being able to pick all the bones out and choking to death. They'll fuck you up, your mom and dad.
