What's your favorite kind of food?

I like Korean the best. I mean, how can you not be turned on by this picture:

I haven't really encountered a lot of Korean food, in fact I think the only time I ate it was in Hong Kong - on a brass dome in the middel of the table, does that sound right?

But favourite food: Japanese.

Too many pictures could be posted here, but okonomiyaki, unagi, octopus balls, shabu shabu, curry doughnuts, omelette tomato taste, edamame, grass jelly, donburi and lots and lots and lots of others utterly pwn this thread.

Unagi is by far my most favorite sushi to order. A Japanese restaurant near me had, like, a whole half of an eel (cooked unagi style) over a bed of rice, with the unagi sauce over it. It was like a giant sized unagi roll without the seaweed. I tell you what, I was in gastronimic heaven.

Wow, Korean is one of my least favorite foods, mostly because they don't seem to even understand the concept of "vegetarian".

I have no big favorite though. There are too many that I like. Lately I've been appreciating Ethiopian.

Awwww. Not all Korean food is vegetarian by any means. Bulgogi and kalbi are some of my favorites...

Cas- that's my big problem with so-called vegetarian Thai food- the fish sauce. My favorite food is Mediterranean. Or Indian. Yes, Indian.

I think sushi (I don't know much about Japanese food apart from sushi to be honest) - and I miss it a lot, they don't let you eat raw fish while pregnant so I dream it at night this period!
and also, even though I'm not a big fan of all things Italian (quite the opposite) I really like Italian food, and I like cooking it as well, and definetely couldn't live without "pizza al taglio" (slices of pizza).

Not keen on Japanese or Chinese really - not liking fish and not eating red meat can be an issue there. Mexican and Indian are my favorite I think.
