I have a pressure cooker, and the usual assortment of kitchen tools. It's raining out, and I have no BBQ sauce, so what can I do with these boneless beef ribs?

My dinner languishes in the fridge, uncooked....

you could easily substitute boneless ribs for rib-eye, just reduce the cooking time.

I'm a vegetarian, so I just googled.

I'm sure it's too late, but all afternoon in the crock pot with sauerkraut would be nummy.

Treating them like rib eye steaks was genuis. I just needed to cut them, and voila, steak! Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up sauteeing them, adding/reducing some tomato pesto, and serving on a bed of fresh basil. (I wasn't going to go out and needed to use ingredients on hand). The recipes posted and suggestions were inspirational. Sometimes I just need something to get me *thinking* about cooking. I'll never accept the shape of my meat as eternal again!

Update: I have chopped up what I didn't use and applied it to a beef stew in the pressure cooker.
Lazy person's stew in a pressure cooker:
To taste: bay leaf, thyme, sage, pinch nutmeg
Garlic, onion
Beef cubes
Brown 'em, then
Prepared chicken stock
One can of chopped tomatoes w/ liquid
One bag frozen stew vegetables

Bring to pressure and cook for abt 20 mins
Stew!

*sigh* I want a pressure cooker. Although the aroma of a slowly-cooking stew filling the house on a lazy Sunday takes some beating.

my pressure cooker (actually my late granny's pressure cooker) is so rarely used because i get THA PH34R of it exploding and i never seem to get the timing right...

i get THA PH34R of it

This is why I got rid of an espresso machine. Covertly threatened me every time I walked into the kitchen.

haha!
No need to fear the pressure cooker-it is absolutely impossible for a modern one to explode-they have locking lids and all kinds of pressure escape valves. Fear not--discover the joy of literally throwing stuff in a pot and having something that tastes (and smells, from the steam escaping) like an hours-long cooked dish. I had started a thread on ILE about the joy of the pressure cooker. Perhaps if I post my adventures, and you see that I use it frequently with no explosions you will lose your fear. It's the most useful thing after the KitchenAid.
