I bought an enormous tin of hungarian paprika, tell me how to use it!

it's sweet although it's not labeled as such, I was kinda hoping it would be hot smoked. : ( St Louis has a very large Bosnian population and I went to that neighborhood's grocery store--I'm sure there are even more exciting bosnian foods in the little corner markets. Does anyone know anything about Bosnian cuisine?

Thinly sliced potatoes fried in olive oil with garlic and paprika = lovely!

You're talking about the vegetable, the pepper, and not the spice, right?

no, the spice. It did come in a big tin though.

Sprinkle it on deviled eggs!

Haha, when teeny started this thread I totally flashed on putting the finishing touches on the eggs I took to T'giving dinner. Wished I'd had some good fresh Hungarian paprika then instead of some tired middle-aged McCormicks.

Two things aside from sprinkling on deviled eggs I know of for paprika: goulash (http://homepage.interaccess.com/~june4/goulash.html) and chicken paprikash (http://www.paprikash.com/). I've never made either, but my mom used to make goulash and my step-mom the paprikash.
