but i wanted this thread to be more about the bestist way to construct yr sandwich, not really what is in it. i dunno if how it's constrcuted and what is in it are inextricably linked or not tho

i mean like do both the bread slices have to have mayo? iusually do thiswhere does the cheese go?
in the "notate" thread virtually every recipe is a similar stack: bread, spread, greens/vegies, meat, cheese, spread, bread.
but i think the meat and cheese should be toward the outter edges so as to seal in the juices from the bread and prevent the sandwich from getting soggy, as mine usually sit a few hours -for example
