watch_dogs was a tech demo i.e. prerendered

say it ain't so! i mean obviously it's being done super high-res PC, but...

Er how does tech demo = pre-rendered? Tech demo generally means "this might not be what the actual game ends up like but look what our engine can do", while pre-rendered footage would mean the opposite of that, "this is how we plan to do the gameplay but the tech isn't working yet so we've faked it".

Watch Dogs looks like LA Noire with cell phones. Great, a game where you walk around Chicago and talk to people in art galleries.

e3 looked like everyone's in a holding pattern for next gen, ie, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

only game Im super pumped for is the new firaxis xcom game.
