PS do gamers actually do well in "academic settings"? I mean staying up all night to play Civ 2 and IRC throughout my time at university may not be the only reason I don't have a degree but it's certainly a factor

Real conflation of "gamers" and "nerds" on that one I think. Also as GamerGate has demonstrated, when people with academic backgrounds (or at least in the humanities) show up and want to talk about games, this is seen as a crisis of gaming, I feel it was unethical for the chart to have omitted this
