there's a part where he thinks her being wrong about something (how can you choose your gender but sexuality is inborn HMM?? -- his failure to understand things as anything other than binary is a defining trait of his thinking) and the sudden jump to condescending to her about LOGIC from then on is just so sad. it's all pretty much extremely sad.
