I've heard of Star Control only in passing, is this something to look forward to?

Sounds like pretty much just the open-source port of Star Control II that's been around for years, but I love that game, so...Not sure how well it would hold up today to newcomers, but it you like dorky space humor, top-down arcade shooter gameplay and taking map notes by hand on pen and paper go for it

I didn't know this Star Wars: Dark Forces remaster was incoming but I'm tempted, that game ruled.

Yeah got this wishlisted, I do like the game but the Trash Compactor level where you have to keep going down the garbage shoot and changing switches annoyed the hell out of me.
