Loved Samorost (I and II), loved Machinarium, didn't quite get Botanicula, and never heard of the others. I love this style of game, though, as a sort of 'point and click lite' (as they're more hunt-the-pixel than adventure game).

Machinarium was really gorgeous and cool, but I got to a point where there were like 10 different connected areas with a million different objects to tinker with and I just gave up. I couldn't even figure out where in a walkthrough to look for what to do.

^ agree. would have voted for samorost (prob 2) if id seen this in time. machinarium just got too convoluted and annoying. still pretty and worth playing though
