If you're a Gold member of Xbox Live you get a couple of games free each month. And some of them have been awesome! This is the thread where we cheer for the month's selection, or pooh-pooh them if they suck.

Coming next month: Just Cause 2. V stoked for this as I loved the crap out of this when I borrowed my brother's copy a few years back.

Should I dl F1 2013 before this month is out?

I skipped F1 coz I can't play driving games where you're expected to do stupid shit like corner at appropriate speeds and avoid collisions.

Terraria was a good freebie the other month - my kids have poured hours into it. Mafia 2 and Sniper Elite 2 were okay for nothing as well.

Yep, will pass on F1 - am definitely much more of a Burnout-style racer than someone who actually enjoys not flipping wildly off the track.

the music in pool nation fx is some of the worst i've ever heard in a game - sounds like it should be running underneath the presenter chatter on a late-night casino phone-in programme
