For playthroughs, I got reeled into Strange Rebel Gaming because of her TLOU videos. Even though watching her play stealth sections was deeply frustrating, her headshot game is on point, plus, she's funny as hell. Also, I think I bought HZD just to watch her playthroughs of that.

Over the years I've dipped in and out of Fightin Cowboy, mostly for his excellent and thorough From guides and walkthroughs. As is always the case these days, I try to suss out a streamer's politics, because I don't want to support assholes. And this guy, on paper/screen, is so may red flags. He's a huge vaping bodybuilding capital B Bro that lives in the south (Tennessee?) who plays games, so of course I expect the worst. But over the years I've been able to piece together his politics, as careful as he often is to keep them quiet (he's spoken out in support of inclusivity and representation, he's raised money for abortion providers, that sort of thing). But the other day I came across this livestream rant he did where he outright calls out racists and bigots in his chats and comments in a really directed, intelligent and earnest way, and I was impressed:

He actually addresses the irony toward the end, basically, "I am a white straight male, 6'1", who owns firearms and lives in Tennessee, I am exactly the kind of guy people hold up as an exemplar of alpha male masculinity, but I am not down with pushing down other groups of people."
