How is everyone feeling about the switch 2? thinking about buying one

The Switch 2 is definitely the best games console on the market and I would totally encourage all my online real friends to buy it

i like mine, it definitely feels more deluxe and faster than the original switch.
there's not a lot of games for it yet though, and Nintendo is being stingy with letting devs roll out switch 2 patches for old games right away, so there's not really any rush unless you're worried about tariff price hikes

everything works yeah, you just would like it to use the extra power to e.g. run them at 1080p instead of 720p and only some games have gotten that treatment yet

switch 1 had a slow rollout for 3rd party access too it just got chalked up to new platform, no one was ready to support it, etc. whereas now it's obvious that it's Nintendo being insanely overprotective of the launch year

but yeah that will all wash out in another year and the hardware is very nice, the closest Nintendo has gotten to 'cutting edge' in decades
