These are basically the level of "completion" for a stage.Clear: If you succeed at the mission, the King will put your Katamari into theheavens, creating a planet.
Great-Clear: If you do particularly well, the planet will glow. Behind the planet will be a soft, coloured glow.
Super-Clear: If you do extremely well, the planet will glow and have a star burst behind it.
So for speed levels, the faster you do, the better the chances of getting a Super-Clear and the same for size, the bigger you are the better chance you have.
Here is a ROUGH list of what the requirements are):

Can we talk for a minute about the cow and bear level? And how insane it is? It's sort of the opposite of so much of the game, forcing you to be painstakingly discriminating instead of wildly indiscriminate. There are other levels where you have be very measured and precise about your size, although that's more knowing when to stop than physically avoiding things (and therefore less nerve-wracking).
I don't really like the levels that constrain your rolling that way, because the total abandon of consuming absolutely everything you see with a sense of complete invincibility is a big part of what makes it fun, for me.

I found my Prince doesn't flash at anything like the right times, but it still grebt. (I suspect this is something to do with UK phones, their frequencies and power levels)

to stall push the down arrow. you don't have to do it very long. the POV changes to "tube view" and to get out you push the up arrow.

Dude you got to pull back (up arrow) and stall until the POV changes from side view to barrel view. Once you're in the barrel you will need to balance right/left (this is very similar to manuals in THPS). Once you've logged enough time in the green room (aka, been in the barrel long enough), push up arrow and you will shoot out of the barrel and the POV will return to the default view.
