Games you HATED due to siblings/relatives playing them too much

1. Mike Tyson's Punch-out
2. Ring King
3. Tecmo Bowl
4. Mickey Mousecapade

EVERY single time we went to the game rental place, my brother had to get one of the top three, and my sister ALWAYS got the Mickey game. My brother would have sleepovers with other players on his middle school and they'd play Tecmo Bowl for 10 hour stretches.

SO HATED.

It kept me from getting any farther on Simon's Quest, dammit.

For some reason my sister loves Clayfighter.

I don't really hate the Street Fighter series, but I had zero interest in playing them, so my friends would play, like, Street Fighter Alpha 2 for hours and hours while I'd just kind've sit around and listen to music. I realized how most girls feel when the guys play! (is that bad to say? I realize not all girls felt that way)

My Dad loved Boulderdash. He would play it until two in the morning every night until he'd finished. And because he got home before I got back from school it meant he could play it all evening. Eventually I destroyed the tape.

I have always hated "puzzle" games and FPS games because everybody else around me has always been better at them than I could ever possibly be.

See also: arcade fighting games, why I think Bushido Blade and turn-based strategy are the pinnacle of design.
