Picked up this little gem at the Nintendo Store in Rockefeller Plaza today:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v467/laurae55/samus2.jpg

Maybe the camera phone picture isn't so good, but the text reads I AM SAMUS. It is possibly my favorite t-shirt ever. I highly recommend the store to anyone in the NYC area.

I also have one with this on the front:

What kind of video game clothing/accessories do you have/want?

Laura H. (laurah), Sunday, 6 November 2005 04:02 (twenty years ago)

Final Fantasy "Attack/Magic/etc" menu tshirt. Oh, the shame.

adam (adam), Sunday, 6 November 2005 04:15 (twenty years ago)

Oh man, that's kinda great. Where did you get it?

Laura H. (laurah), Sunday, 6 November 2005 05:54 (twenty years ago)

I mentioned elsewhere that I have an Illusion of Gaia shirt that was packed in with the game. Why am I still awake?

allen riley (allenriley), Sunday, 6 November 2005 07:20 (twenty years ago)

www.gameskins.com

Elsewhere on ILG, Cozen posted a link to a totally jerkin' KD shirt. I'll try and dig it up 'cause I'm all about buying it once stupid winter dozens-of-good-games season ends.

adam (adam), Sunday, 6 November 2005 12:19 (twenty years ago)

yeah... I pre-ordered tht KD shirt but they're not going ahead with making it because not enough ppl wanted it : /

I have this sensible soccer t-shirt

Britain's Obtusest Shepherd (Alan), Wednesday, 9 November 2005 13:27 (twenty years ago)

I used to have a talking Jigglypuff on my desk at work. My office-mates banned me from making him talk.

Somebody gave me this for christmas last year:

http://www.emerchandise.com/images/p/NDO/pdCPNDO0003.jpg

It's great, but a bit too small for my big old head.

When I was in the nintendo store last month all their clothes were boring! They must've restocked for christmas or something.

JimD (JimD), Monday, 14 November 2005 19:34 (twenty years ago)

matt sephton, what's with the back of that t-shirt!!!!

it could have been so perfect, sooooo perfect

cozen (Cozen), Monday, 14 November 2005 20:04 (twenty years ago)

If you go to the Nintendo store, it might be worth asking if they have anything else in the back that isn't on the floor. When I went, all the girls' shirts were totally lame, mostly pink ones that said PRINCESS and had a silhouette of Peach on the front. The Samus one was in the stockroom or something and I only got it cause I asked.

So true!

I wish I were comfortable enough with my rampant dorkiness to publicly wear shirts as awesome as these.

Wolfcastleee (Leee), Monday, 14 November 2005 22:12 (twenty years ago)

I like the back of the shirt!

I certainly did not buy it after seeing that picture on WWYDL.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Monday, 14 November 2005 22:26 (twenty years ago)

I have super mario 64 socks.

revolting upstairs (haitch), Monday, 14 November 2005 23:02 (twenty years ago)

I also have a metal gear solid t-shirt and dog-tags from when that came out in the collector-scum box set. the t-shirt is low-quality but the dog tags are OK.

not v. original but all i cld find outside the interweb.

jeffrey (johnson), Sunday, 27 November 2005 21:58 (twenty years ago)

It's a shirt made by caoine.org, AKA Penny Arcade's (ex-)webmistress. There was a time when any weblog at all thought it was a good idea to get cafepress to make them a shirt.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Monday, 28 November 2005 04:19 (twenty years ago)

That pacman shirt rules. GLITCH ART

OMG MINE
but which one???

also the ADVENTURE duck/dragon one down below would be sweet if they didn't make it 3d.

sleep (sleep), Thursday, 15 December 2005 05:04 (twenty years ago)

The "hero" one is amazing!

melton mowbray (adr), Thursday, 15 December 2005 14:42 (twenty years ago)

25 bucks = fuck that.

adam (adam), Thursday, 15 December 2005 18:37 (twenty years ago)

four months pass...
I'm having big difficulties deciding between these.

melton mowbray's APOCALYPTO! (adr), Wednesday, 10 May 2006 17:33 (nineteen years ago)

those are nice (rez shirt wins)

sleep (sleep), Wednesday, 10 May 2006 17:57 (nineteen years ago)

Rez is cool, but I like the fancy-dress-ness of the Colossus one. I have a friend who will go nuts for the Ico one, so I might leave that for him.

melton mowbray's APOCALYPTO! (adr), Wednesday, 10 May 2006 18:10 (nineteen years ago)

rez.

Should I get this? It seems sort of lame, I love UKR though.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Friday, 12 May 2006 00:23 (nineteen years ago)

I have that shirt! More than one (real) person (who isn't my mum) has said it looks good on me, and I've never had a clothing-related compliment before - so it's probably worth getting :)

melton mowbray's APOCALYPTO! (adr), Friday, 12 May 2006 11:52 (nineteen years ago)

I dont have any special t-shirts but I do like to wear the skin of a real life Italian plumber I slaughtered whenever I play Super Mario.
