Gitaroo Man mysteriously available again

Gamestop is selling Gitaroo Man, as well as Cubivore, Rhapsody and Persona 2, "used" on their website and supposedly at stores, for decent prices (I don't know if they're used or not). Much better than crazy Ebay prices--I got GM, Rhapody and Persona 2 for 100 bucks shipped off Gamestop.com (with a 25% off coupon).

Please to use this thread to tell me how awesome Gitaroo Man is going to be once it gets here.

I bought this game today! I swear this thread had a lot more posts in it. Is there another thread with Gitaroo Man talk in?

True fact: After playing the first level after the tutorial, I got a rank D and it gave me the option "replay this game". I assume this meant I'd failed, so I said "yes". Played it through again and got another D. Got the option again, so had another go and got a D. I was annoyed that the first level was so hard, so I said "cancel" after my third attempt. It is only now, five levels into the game after doing this on every level and wondering why I couldn't improve my grades, that the replays were infact just that, and I wasn't controlling them at all. For fuck's sake, Pat.

That happened to me with Osu! Tatake! Ouendan. It was pretty sad.

I can't beat the second level of this game.

Yeah wtf, this is pretty difficult. To be honest, I wasn't at all blown away with it at first, but now it's reaaally growing on me. I'm looking forward to playing it again in hard mode, even if I can't do easy.

Well, I've just finished it, and it wasn't easy. The last level was just blind luck, really. I can't even do the first song on "master mode", but it sounds a lot better when it's more complicated!

I am blown away now - great game.
