Recent Modestly-Priced X-Box Games Worth A Damn

If there's been a thread for this already, then whack this one quick, but: I'm going to be a college graduate soon, and will have plenty of free time to fritter away. What cheapish X-Box games should I snag to make my frittering fun? I have enjoyed the Halos, Ninja Gaiden, DOA III, and GTA III (on the PC). I have my eye on KOTOR II and San Andreas. All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Stubbs the Zombie looks fun, but I haven't played it yet.

For some reason I almost never finish Xbox games (the only exceptions I can think of are Halo 1 and MechAssault).

Not many people rave about it, but I'd suggest Breakdown. First-person view seems a little odd at first, but the story is very immersive and the graphics are great. It'd satisfy your ILC mind, too - story centers around the birth of a superhero, with the future of the world at stake.

Silent Hill 2 - favorite survival-horror game. Fun for the space it provides to explore.

Advent Rising looked interesting, story-wise, but the pics in the Xbox mag all looked overly pixelated. Any word different?

JADE EMPIRE if that's recently priced yet. Also Psychonauts.

ONE MONTH LATER:

I ended up buying KOTOR II used & the GTA 3-pack (w/ III, Vice City, & San Andreas). Played thru KOTOR as Light Side; saving Dark Side shenanigans for a later date. Am just about done w/ Vice City (have to complete stupid boat mission to go on), & began San Andreas. I fear future gaming escapades will pale in comparison.

Jade Empire was a little disappointing, in retrospect… but Psyschonauts was well worth it.

Yo!

A while back, I bought the following:

Jade Empire (not bad, esp. for $20, even if I breezed through most of it)
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (nice!)
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (STEEF!)

Have finished the first two, and am pushing through the 3rd. Next up, most likely: the other PoP games, Bully, The Warriors (once it goes down in price), one of those X-Men RPG things, or stuff mentioned above. Assuming I don't finally buy a new PC & become immersed in Civ IV.

More suggestions, y'all!

MechAssault and MechAssault2 are fun. Decent Halo-ish graphics, good story arc, fun set of different mechs/weapons. MAII adds a few twists, like mini battlesuits and hijacking other mechs via pressing a series of buttons. I've got that in the Xbox and Silent Hill 3 in the PS2.

And will reiterate the Breakdown and SH2 suggestions above. Recently replayed SH2 on the PS2 (to activate bonus bits during SH3), and enjoyed the lack of respawning enemies while exploring, and that, while there are boss battles, much of the fighting is optional. Conserve ammo or use it, your choice.

I have X-Men Next Dimension. Don't care for it much, aside from the geek pleasure of choosing Juggernaut, tromping on the opponent, and hearing the victorious "Juggernaut rules!" comment. Nice graphics, though, and each arena has adjoining areas you can reach by smacking your opponent in the proper direction, like Dead or Alive.

Voodoo Vince is fun, but I'm stuck with one of the later bosses.
