Just bought this today under assorted recommendations that it is (paraphrasing) "fucking weird", and man is it ever. It's like the best parts of Tony Hawk crossed with the best parts of SSX, and then glazed in a sheen of Wonder Showzen. I could give 2/3 of a fuck about snowboarding but so far this has been memorably bizarre & fun. So far the cutscenes have involved:

-shabbily stop-motion-animated action figure commercials
-a pig-head corporate exec that makes you jump through moving trams on a snowmobile
-a baffling Super Mario Bros. parody
-lots of D&D-nerd-type 9th-grader-quality sketches of dragons and demons and shit
-an evil villain (presumably foreshadowing of some high-powered boss type) bitching about cutscenes and how if he ran a video game company, his ROLLERBLADING game wouldn't have any

this sounds amazing! i tried ssx tour or whatever it's called and all i could do was grab rails and stop completely. falling off big cliffs was pretty fun though.
