My drunken stoned gaming last night was focused on Mario Tennis: Power Tour. I firmly believe that it is the best tennis-themed RPG I have ever played.

Video games and intoxicants go together so very well. The very first time I got drunk at 15 I spent most of my time playing Twisted Metal until I passed out.

I got pissed last night and sat for ages with my mate trying to beat the 'like a rhinoceros, but bigger' boss on Ultimate Spiderman* and just couldn't do it. I was giving it 'THIS GAME IS JUST TOO FUCKING HARD, THIS IS AN EARLY BOSS AND HE'S HARD AS FUCKING NAILS!'

I switched it on this afternoon and beat him first time. Piece of piss tbh. Drinking must really fuck up my reactions.

*Looks great, all nice cell shading and comic strip cut scenes, controls are a bit arsey but okay once you get used to them. Doing missions as Venom fucking RULES. May be my favourite Spidey game so far.

I like the rule where 3rd place drinks too if the winner drinks before they finish. Gives people an incentive to keep moving and competing.... Maybe we should extend it so that if the last person to be forced to drink finishes their drink before you finish you have to drink. Although that might handicap bad drivers even more...

Drunk! Drunk and fairly lonely, as it happens. Can't remember the last time I went out with friends and got wrecked, only to find that friends were all in a sensible "not-drinking-too-much-and-going-home-to-bed" kind of mood. But tonight seems to be one of those. Boo.
