yeah, my contribution to this thread was gonna be "all post-snes squaresoft games". i remember that final fantasy x came out when i was in tenth grade (appropriately enough) and i was pretty excited about it. but even then, when i was barely capable of dressing myself every day, something like this made me completely apoplectic:

I don't think that the proportions are really the issue here. The last one just looks like a really tasteless dominatrix with her feather boa and her fishbowl platform thigh-highs, but the first two are from some other universe of tacky bizarritude. Well, the first one wouldn't be that bad off if she ditched the dopey mask and the giraffe patterns, but the second design is just pure crap! They paid someone to come up with that?

I liked Raz's outfit, with the scarf, backpack, leather jacket, helmet & goggles. i thought was a little grotesque, sure, but without his helmet on(during the final cutscene), he's wearing a turtleneck and the combo of clothing + hairstyle makes him look like Ian Curtis.

Also, as many said, it's a shame that they didn't use Lili more in the ads, especially getting the game into Hot Topic more:

Sonic is supposed to speed around in verdant landscapes (alternatively: futuristic urban complexes) collecting coins and saving woodland creatures from robot enslavement.
