Right then, so a new RTS is coming out in February, with the demo already out. I like it so far, but my attention span for RTS games ain't the best.

One cool feature is the "cinematic" button which switches the view in a moving camera in 3D mode, which provides for plenty o' pretty pictures, like so.

There are some mods out already, to unlock more planets, units, and AI. here and here

Also, I'm disappointed that the units don't become increasingly belligerant when you keep clicking on them.

Admiral Ackbar is a playable character, too, so maybe they use that particle bit of movie dialogue at one point.

seven months pass...

I havent played an RTS in quite some time and noticed this game was on sale so I picked it up. The game kinda annoys the shit out of me tho. Anyone else play through it?

It does. Some aspects remind me a bit too much of the remake of Dune 2, where it was like a rock paper scissors game with certain units and if you play the wrong hand so to speak your units get fucking annihilated real quick.

Perhaps I should just try to finish Warcraft 3 instead. Didnt make much headway on that game either. Apparently Im old and lazy and not open to new games.
