The Play 2 collection can be a laugh after a few beers: mr chef > bubble popping thing > baseball thing > boxing thing > ninja thing > all the rest.

The only other thing I've played was the Disney Move collection, it was mostly rubbish.

The Sega one looks good, but I've not played it.

I would like to second (third?) the Play 2 thing. Very fun.

I read an ad today about an eyetoy exercise game called Kinetics or something like that. I like that idea! It runs you through an aerobic routine in the eyetoy structure.

I am tempted to go buy it and the camera now.

wasn't there a hoverboard game for this?

It was pretty awful, imo.

listen, i did the face mapping thing, with the eye toy, on THUG 2 yesterday and it was a little frightening at first. this is where you take a photo on the eye toy and then map the points (eyes, mouth, nose) and then it creates an animation of your face on one of the pre-made skater characters, to which you can then add hair and hats and clothes etc.

I started off with hollowed out eyes like the dead people in 'the ring' but then i used more light and found if i made my eyes really wide when i took the pic i ended up looking like an anime skater. i cant wait to do the cats.

Hahaha, didn't someone here (possibly Onimo) once say their custom skater looked like a burns victim with down syndrome?

melton mowbray (adr), Sunday, 12 February 2006 16:54 (nineteen years ago)

it gave my profile a much better nose

sunny successor (katharine), Monday, 13 February 2006 14:45 (nineteen years ago)

Burns victim with a cleft pallet, I think I said. That was importing a jpg in the PC version.

Onimo (GerryNemo), Monday, 13 February 2006 14:59 (nineteen years ago)

that pretty spot on, actually

i bought Sega Superstars for teh Kat the other week. some of the games look awesome! there's one where you have to guide coloured beanbags that fall on your head into the corresponding box, it looks hilarious! i only tried one game, Virtua Fighter. you actually have to fight a guy and block his attacks and stuff, i nearly shat myself laughing. i recommend buying it, even if only for the opportunity to FITE someone that's not really there.

i spent an hour play VF when i got home today. i even worked in a few HEADBUTTS. fucking awesome. fucking knackered.

the kit! (g-kit), Monday, 20 February 2006 21:23 (nineteen years ago)

This sounds AMAZING. Are they still the same old low-polygon models from the arcade?

melton mowbray (adr), Monday, 20 February 2006 22:52 (nineteen years ago)

dunno, i never plaid teh arcadia version.
i played it on EASY mode again. it's so laughably easy i was using KARATE CHOPS and doing SPINNING PUNCHES to get them to 5% health and then finishing them off with FINGER OF DEATH. i will surely play this game every day.

Normal mode is much, much harder, my win/loss ratio is about 50/50.

the kit! (g-kit), Tuesday, 21 February 2006 08:38 (nineteen years ago)

i pwned normal mode today.
