Also, Warning Forever!

Another vector-graphics game where the boss evolves depending on how you kill the previous one!

Hmm, Torus trooper strangely bugged. Doesn't recognise any fire buttons for me. I can get the title screen, and it recognises left and right (keyboard or joypad) for difficulty selection, but won't let me actually choose anything or start a game. Boo.

worked fine for me on my logitech duel action

It's really weird, it's not just a joypad issue, even the Z and X keys aren't working. I don't get it.

Ahh, good old ABA Games. Never cdease to amaze me. A personal favourite is still rRootage, in which there is an "ika mode," which is essentially ikaruga with more randomized content. But my faovurite is possibly Gunroar, which is one of my top 10 gaming moments of all time. Play it with a ttwo-analog-stick controller.

I seem to remember having similar problems once with his games, with buttons not working... a restart, un/replugging my keyboard/controller, and restarting the game... one of these may ahve worked.

Warning Forever is so good that I haven't got round to playing the other games yet. Thanks.

ha, i downloaded linux ports of all these a couple of weeks ago as they are all similar in style to my attempt. oddly they are all (well, mostly) written in D, which is, like, one louder than C and use bulletML libraries which let you define hails of bullets using xml. stuningly busy, actionwise.
