Casino Bonus-Bagging, etc

This seems the board for this, really - does an ILG dude do this? It's pretty much keeping body and soul together for me right now - a sort of £20-an-hour own-time data entry job that you're only allowed to do for a week?

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 01:06 (nineteen years ago)

What does it mean? It sounds great.

JimD (JimD), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 01:35 (nineteen years ago)

You basically sign up to a casino, put £50 on, play careful blackjack until you get a £50 sign-on bonus, then grab your remaining £47 and run onto the next one. It's pretty sweet.

There are lists of bonuses in various places, blackholebonus is good for the UK as far as I can tell.

i don't understand... sounds to me like you lose 3 quid? explain it real slow, like you're teaching this method to a cat.

"MEOW MEOW MEOW.... MEOW."

s1ocki (slutsky), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 14:39 (nineteen years ago)

haha, silly me. i get it now.

teh_kit has 18 friends (g-kit), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 14:43 (nineteen years ago)

btw, yeah, an ILG dude would do this. then buy more games, obv.

teh_kit has 18 friends (g-kit), Tuesday, 25 April 2006 14:43 (nineteen years ago)

i've been doing this recently as i have no money. you have to be so disciplined as its very very very boring. ugh.

zappi (joni), Wednesday, 26 April 2006 11:14 (nineteen years ago)

how difficult/risky is it?

teh_kit has 18 friends (g-kit), Wednesday, 26 April 2006 11:34 (nineteen years ago)

its not difficult at all, its just very boring - staring at a computer screen for hours on end - the hours put in for the money back isnt a good ratio. as ever there is a risk, but its very small. if i had any other choice i wouldnt bother :/
more details here

zappi (joni), Wednesday, 26 April 2006 20:10 (nineteen years ago)

Oh wait, you do it in online casinos!? Gotcha. At first I was thinking "bah, sod that, I'd have to get all dressed up and wander the streets, s'not worth it".

JimD (JimD), Wednesday, 26 April 2006 22:27 (nineteen years ago)

Right, I'm going to have a go at this. If I lose all my money, one of you should buy me a compensatory pint. :)

JimD (JimD), Thursday, 27 April 2006 00:03 (nineteen years ago)

Greg, Jim, I've done this. Jim, I can tell you the two easiest/best places to try if you're interested? It's risk free as, if you are unlucky and drop the bonus amount, you can just quit and withdraw your initial deposit.

I earned $270 in about 5 hours, though I was very lucky and the average payout is $140. Pretty good way to earn a decent amount of $$ for doing very little.

For further info for anyone who wants to do this seriously, have a look at this thread and this thread for info on potential targets and one chap's report of his casino whoring experiences.

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 27 April 2006 14:59 (nineteen years ago)

My addictive/compulsive tendencies are waaaaay too serious for me to risk this.

Ricky Nadir (noodle vague), Thursday, 27 April 2006 15:47 (nineteen years ago)

I did try to make a start on this last night, but the first site I tried didn't like my credit card, for some reason. I'll give it a proper go next week, I guess.

JimD (JimD), Thursday, 27 April 2006 16:22 (nineteen years ago)

Some credit card companies (well, V!sa) don't allow you to use their cards w/ gambling sites. You might have to use a 3rd-party site tied to your bank account if you want to have the online gambling fun.

David R. (popshots75`), Thursday, 27 April 2006 16:30 (nineteen years ago)

Ah, that'd explain it. I guess I can do the neteller thing instead then.

JimD (JimD), Thursday, 27 April 2006 16:41 (nineteen years ago)

This is roughly my 4th week at the pub without throwing cashmoney away down the bandits. Every night I can do that pissed is an epic struggle in favour of what's right and true.

Every Time I Open Up My Mouth All Bullets Spit Out: Bang! (noodle vague), Thursday, 27 April 2006 22:56 (nineteen years ago)

I had my first EVER go on a bandit a couple of weeks ago, when I was in Ireland. I put 50 cents in, pushed the button, and 2 euros fell out. Result! Course, that's probably used up my quota of luck for the next five years.

I spent my 2 euros on Star Wars Episode One Racer Arcade, and I made the high scores. Raa!

JimD (JimD), Thursday, 27 April 2006 23:42 (nineteen years ago)

See, what you should've done there Jim is spent the money on beer.

Every Time I Open Up My Mouth All Bullets Spit Out: Bang! (noodle vague), Thursday, 27 April 2006 23:47 (nineteen years ago)

Since my "real" name is Jim and I'm pissed that was a horrerbly confusing post.

Every Time I Open Up My Mouth All Bullets Spit Out: Bang! (noodle vague), Thursday, 27 April 2006 23:56 (nineteen years ago)

Jim (the sober one), I use Neteller and it's pretty straightforward, though it took me 6 days or something to get the necessary confirmation before I could use it. I'm intending to try and few more when I find myself with lots of free time.

I know my visa card(s) have worked on "gambling" sites - perhaps there's a difference between pure casino sites and poker/bookmaker sites.

Markelby (Mark C), Saturday, 29 April 2006 19:25 (nineteen years ago)

Mark, was it Starluck and Planetluck you were recommending as risk-free? They look good I think!

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Sunday, 30 April 2006 08:37 (nineteen years ago)

I have found quite a few good bonuses here, you could try them too.

Finally got around to making a start on this today. Hit my first casino this afternoon, and after about 3 hours of clicking I'm £130 better off. I guess my luck was in. Raa!

Bloody boring though, innit?

JimD (JimD), Friday, 12 May 2006 14:58 (nineteen years ago)

Well, yes, but so are most jobs, only you don't usually earn £40 an hour :) Whcih casino did you do, btw? Did you complete the bonus clearing requirements?

Crimea River (Mark C), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 09:39 (nineteen years ago)

I did w1ll14m h1ll (risk free), and yep, clocked my requirement easily enough, though I had to wait 3 days before they'd allow me to withdraw the cash, then 3 more for it to transfer back to my account. So I haven't got around to hitting my second one yet, but will do any day now, probably.

JimD (JimD), Wednesday, 24 May 2006 16:54 (nineteen years ago)

smashing - I have done Hills but it sounds good! Ah - I already have an account with their p***r site - I wonder if that'd be a problem...

Crimea River (Mark C), Thursday, 25 May 2006 16:13 (nineteen years ago)

two weeks pass...
Hmm. Just had my first total wipe out, which wasn't much fun. At this point...well, ok, I've done my 3rd casino, I finished with £130 pofit from the first, £32 profit from the second, and then I've had a £50 loss with this one. I'm still up £112, but it's taken me about 9 hours of clicking. I guess that still works out at over £12 an hour though, which isn't too bad. Ok, good, I've just made myself feel a bit better. :)

JimD (JimD), Friday, 9 June 2006 11:54 (nineteen years ago)

this wasnt b3t365 by any chance? i got eaten alive by them & took a £60 loss. it wasnt fun :(

zappi (joni), Friday, 9 June 2006 12:24 (nineteen years ago)

nope. 32r3d.

JimD (JimD), Friday, 9 June 2006 12:28 (nineteen years ago)

This looks exciting but scary.

jeffrey (johnson), Saturday, 10 June 2006 13:01 (nineteen years ago)

It is. I lost all of 50£ + bonus at the first casino, playing exactly according to the tables provided. Had no luck at all, dealer kept hitting the 20s and 21s. It was fun though, but if I could get my 50 back it'd be nice. Playing through a few casinos, I've yet to make a profit that's not the bonus, I always end up with about 40£ off the 50 I put in.
