Herzog Zwei: WTF?

At my neighborhood gamer shop this Sega Genesis game was on display with a tag of $50. It looks like some mech-type roborighter game, not about shoving a boat over a mointain, unfortunately.

Has anyone played this, or Herzog (eins?) for that matter? Why the bloated price tag?

yeah I have this, god knows where I picked it up but I got it on the cheap. RTS, but you can get involved in the action yourself with your mech. pretty good!
