Right - Virtual Console. The Wii Europe>UK website doesn't list what games are available on the VC, as far as I can see from a brief 5min browse through - but I can rewatch the ads I see on telly all the time. Yeah. Great. ANYWAY! So - is there a reliable list anywhere?

What with the region compliance stuff I'm seriously thinking of importing a Wii and ordering games from the US wii store - but I'm not sure if this would work with my fairly odd, but not really that rubbish, TV...

Does anyone have any experience of this who might be able to help? I've never imported/hacked consoles before just because it seemed so complex, but a coupla of friends of friends have got Canadian/US wii's and they seem to be working OK.

Have played on my friends Wii and it's ace AND I WANT ONE TOO.

Admittedly they are only doing fairly expensive bundles (Wii + WiiSports + Zelda + Farcry + Red Steel + Additional WiiMote + 2000 Point Card for ~£330), eBuyer say they have 150 units coming in next week, available in the aforementioned bundle. Just a heads up for anyone getting really desperate.

xpost:
For the Virtual Console, I could check what games are up at the moment on the UK one, but I'm at work right now. All I remember when I last checked was that it wasn't that great, though there is some good stuff beginning to appear. Still no Goldeneye :(

I thought Wiis were supposed to be a cheap deal? The only bundle Game have is like 335 quid, and I'd only want two of those games bah!

Porkpie (porkpie), Wednesday, 31 January 2007 21:52 (seventeen years ago) link

that's cheap! 180 quid for the wii, which includes Sports, plus 4 games @ 40quid each. and of those zelda is a must, and wario's looking good.
