I had this book when I was a kid! It had a tips section in the back for games like Wizard of Wor and that... and suggested that if you want to make a game more challenging you should use the opposite hands for the joystick and fire buttons (there was a pencil sketch of a boy playing an arcade game with his arms crossed over). I think there were also type-in BASIC games for the Vic-20 and ZX Spectrum, though that might have been in their other books (they brought out loads of different books on computers - one taught you how to write in assembly!).

"The Ultimate Game." Heh. G-Loc doesn't sound like the ultimate to me.

They were sooo close as to be astonishing until they hit 'Long Distance Games' and the execution was so far off.
They didn't anticipate interwebs.

This is how most southpaws play Galaga, by making an X with their forearms.

I'm left-handed and I never did that shit, but when I first played Master System and NES games I was totally clumsy at it since I was used to controlling stuff with my right hand on the 2600. And D-Pads just felt fucking weird. I had to use that little nub that you could screw into the Master System d-pad as a kind of training wheel for a while.

I disagree, how else does your wireless network in your house work other than by using radio trasmitters and receivers?

xxpost.
I don''t connect to YOUR computer with radio waves.
It's also a dedicated game.

Basically, they got too specific.
