When Joel was 2 or 3 he used to watch me playing Tomb Raider on the PS. It got to the stage where he used to want a controller, but was incapable of playing it, so I gave him the spare and pretended it was plugged in. He seemed happy.

I was amazed at how fast my little brother took to my Nintendo system. He figured out the back and forth positioning of "Super Mario Brothers" and what each button did by the time he was two. He's now one of those twenty-year old college students who seems so still and Zen-like, barely moving his thumbs and first two fingers, while all hell and apocalypse takes place on the screen.

A friend of mine has a daughter who told him one day that Officer Tenpenny was a fucking asshole. That's how he discovered that the little precious ears are always listening.

One of my buddies was quite proud of teaching his 7 year old nephew to say "one shot, one kill," whilst he & his brother in law were playing Goldeneye.

His sister, suffice to say, was not nearly as entertained.

Whoa, I had no idea how similar the Wii and the 360 look at a glance from far away with no glasses on, even though mine sit right next to eachother! The 360's horizontal, though.
