How good is Madden 07 (for Wii)

Thinkin of buying this but I have no previous experience with football games and I barely know the basic rules. I just think throwing passes with the Wii remote looks fun.

Is the game good enough to sustain my superficial interest?

I imagine that not understanding the rules would be a signifant setback considering how faithful Madden is to the rules and nuances of the game. Then again, a quick flip through Wikipedia's NFL entry would probably be enough.

Tackling looks super-fun.

I more or less learned the rules of football from early iterations of Madden, so I don't think you'll find it hard to pick up.

wii madden is all about learning the rules!

I learnt almost literarily everything i know about the nfl rules from madden 93.

the main criticism seems to be that it's just a roster update but i can't think why you'd mind that?
