Nintendo sells all these games about "doing your best" and "being the hero," telling kids "you can do it if you try," but in the end that's just a story, a marketing lie that sounds good.

I got about ten minutes out of it. It's a bit demented and it appears to be mostly about finding batteries. Couldn't muster up the patience to continue past ten minutes of battery hunting

i'm not wholly impressed, and i was one of the few people who thought this could be good.

yeah, it's totally not surprising that nintendo won't touch this. I see he's got a forum on his site though where people are offering feedback, you never know the final release might be a vast improvement if he listens to his audience.
